Motion-activated & light sensing: This toilet light, when activated, uses two sensors to work. It can detect motion within 6.6 FT and will glow when you are within 6 FT of it. Conversely, will end up working after 2 minutes. Light sensing makes it work only in the dark. So, when you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, you don’t need to turn on the light.

First light lasted about 10 months, second lasted less than 3. Neither worked again once I had to change out batteries. They were very useful and I definitely ordered more :)
This is super easy to set up! The motion detection feature picks up from a distance and is enough light so you don't have to turn on any other lights to see. Rotates through fun colors too.
I first bought toilet lights as a joke. The whole idea struck me as funny. However, once I had them, I realized I love them! No more glaring lights waking me up in the middle of the night. No more overnight guests groping for light switches. Just pretty lights that greet me when I need them the most! These were replacements for my first set (which died after several years of faithful service). They are a snap to install, the batteries last for months, and they have clever sensors that only turn them on when it's dark and someone comes into the bathroom. No matter how silly you think they sound, get these lights. You, too, will love them and not want to live without them.
Works very well! Immediately comes on in the dark when entering Bathroom and goes off when no motion. No harsh light that would wake someone up completely. Very thoughtful invention! I should have bought some sooner!
